Andrew Cuomo's Job Plan
Andrew Cuomo, after four years as governor, has implemented plans to increase job growth in New York. He says his focus is on the business and economic development in the state. In an effort he created,
Regional Economic Development Councils. He had created 10 of these regional economic development councils to provide
local input into economic development, and "he authorized four Las
Vegas-style casinos upstate."(Newsday) He has, "... has awarded more than $2 billion for job creation and community
development, the Regional Councils have produced innovative plans and
